Pedestrian is struck and killed by vehicle Saturday night in Kansas City
A person walking on Bruce R. Watkins Drive near Bannister Road was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night, according to police.
Kansas City Police responded to the incident shortly before 11 p.m. The pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle that was traveling north on Bruce R. Watkins after merging from Bannister.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and talked with police.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
