Masked robber hits Northland bank
A man wearing a costume mask robbed a bank Saturday in Kansas City, North.
According to the FBI, the robber entered the Bank of Weston at 6510 N.W. Prairie View Road at 11:30 a.m. He jumped the counter, showed a weapon and demanded money.
The man escaped with cash after jumping into a vehicle believed to be driven by a woman. The car is described as possibly a black, four-door Nissan with a vanity tag not issued by a state. It deplayed the letter “M.”
The FBI described the suspect as about 6 feet tall and weighing 160-170 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, black gloves, black tennis shoes and a dark blue hoodie with faded lettering.
No injuries were reported.
