A Platte County High School baseball coach has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation.
Rob Davenport, who is a science teacher at the high school and is also listed as head softball coach, is being investigated for violations of school board policy.
The district did not elaborate on details of its investigation.
"As part of our efforts to ensure a safe and caring environment for our learners, we investigate any allegation of violations of board policy," spokesperson Laura Hulett told The Star. "Due to the confidentiality of personnel issues, this is all we can share at this time."
She told The Star that no police investigation was being conducted.
