Boil advisory issued in eastern Kansas City
A water boil advisory has been issued for an area of eastern Kansas City. The Water Services Department says the area affected is roughly east of Interstate 435, north of U.S, 40, west of Blue Ridge Boulevard and south of 23rd Street.
Customers in that area may experience no or low water pressure. Service was expected to return to normal by Wednesday morning but customers are advised to boil all drinking water vigorously for three minutes until the advisory is lifted.
