Tornado confirmed in northwest Missouri
A tornado was confirmed at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday near Maitland in northwest Missouri, the National Weather Service said. It was moving east at 25 mph.
A tornado warning for parts of Andrew, Nodaway and Holt counties has been extended until 8 p.m. There were also reports of golf ball sized hail.
A separate tornado warning is also in effect for Harrison and Mercer counties in north central Missouri until 8 p.m.
