Chicks hatch on ‘falcon cam’ in Kansas City

Peregrine falcon chicks have hatched in two nests set up with live streaming video by the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Chicks started hatching late Sunday at the nest at the Kansas City Power & Light Co.’s Iatan power plant. View them here.

Parents falcons will hunt to bring food to their offspring. Peregrine falcons are endangered in Missouri. The conservation department began reintroducing them in 1991.
