Nine-year-old runaway boy has been found, KC police say
The 9-year-old boy who jumped out of a cab and ran away was found on Tuesday, Kansas City police said.
Police were looking for Sir A. Wright, who was last seen in the area of 56th Street and Swope Parkway about 3:30 p.m. Monday.
The boy had left a note with his teacher saying he was running away to go to his biological mother’s house.
Police officers, detectives and relatives searched most of the night and continued looking Tuesday for the boy.
No other details were available early Tuesday afternoon.
