Three people taken to hospitals from Kansas City house fire
Three people suffered smoke inhalation in a Kansas City house fire Monday.
The fire was reported about 12:45 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Drury Avenue.
Arriving firefighters reported flames and heavy smoke coming from the residence. They also requested four ambulances.
Three people suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to hospitals for treatment, fire department officials said.
The fire was declared under control about 20 minutes after firefighters arrived.
