Snow expected around midnight in KC; second round could fall Sunday night
A winter weather advisory has been issued for the metro area and snow is expected to arrive around midnight, according to the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill.
The advisory is from midnight to noon Sunday. A winter weather advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties, weather service officials said.

Light snow is expected, which could lead to slow travel and slick road conditions Sunday morning.
The metro area could see an accumulation of snow up to 2 inches.
A second round of snow is expected Sunday night into Monday morning, which could affect the morning commute.
Accumulation could be between 1-2 inches on Monday.
