One dead in Kansas City crash involving a motorcycle

One person was killed in a traffic crash involving a motorcycle Thursday night at 53rd Street and the Paseo, police said.

The driver was headed north at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the Honda motorcycle and crashed about 9:33 p.m. He died at the scene, police said.
