Thousands of KCP&L customers in Gladstone without electricity following equipment failure
Over 10,000 KCP&L customers in Gladstone and portions of Kansas City, North were without electricity Tuesday evening following equipment failure at a Northland substation.
The initial was report was made just after 9 p.m. The entire city of Gladstone was without electricity for an extended period. Power was being restored just after 10 p.m., according to a company spokesman.
