Man reported missing is found dead in Kansas City

A man found dead earlier this month in Kansas City has been identified as a man reported missing in March, police said Wednesday.

The body of 48-year-old Steven Mitchell was found April 12 in the 600 block of Tracy Avenue. The cause of his death has not been determined, police said.

Mitchell, who lived in the downtown area, was reported missing March 21.
