Police seek public’s help in search for 86-year-old Liberty woman

Liberty police on Tuesday night issued an Endangered Silver Advisory Alert for a missing 86-year-old woman who has dementia and a heart condition.

Joan K. Kurek has been missing from the 700 bock of North Fairway Drive since 9 p.m. Monday, when she was last spoken to by phone.

Kurek is described as 5-feet-1-inch tall, weighing 145 pounds, with light brown hair and blue eyes. There was no clothing description.

Kurek may be driving a white, 1995 Ford Taurus with Missouri plates ME5Y0X.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Liberty Police Department at 816-439-4704.
