Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fatal two-vehicle collision that killed a 70-year-old man and hospitalized a 29-year-old woman Monday in Grandview.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fatal two-vehicle collision that killed a 70-year-old man and hospitalized a 29-year-old woman Monday in Grandview.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fatal two-vehicle collision that killed a 70-year-old man and hospitalized a 29-year-old woman.

The collision occurred about 1:40 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Blue Ridge Blvd. in Grandview.

According to police, the woman was driving west on Blue Ridge Blvd. when she collided with a vehicle pulling onto Blue Ridge from a private driveway.

Both drivers were injured but conscious and talking after the collision, police said. Each driver was taken to an area hospital by Fire Department medical units. The 70-year-old driver later died at the hospital. It is not believed

The woman’s injuries were not considered life threatening.
