Tyler Ryan Givens-Dunn of Omaha, Neb., spent the last night of his life at the Suicideboys concert in Kansas City on Friday with friends, according to reports on social media.

On the drive home, the friends reportedly ran out of gas.

Givens-Dunn, 19, apparently hopped on a skateboard to go find a gas station. But he never made it.

Iowa State Patrol authorities said he was in the left lane of northbound Interstate 29 in Mills County, Iowa, when he was struck and killed by an SUV, according to KMA radio in Shenandoah, Iowa.

The accident happened about 2:10 a.m. Saturday, a few miles south from the I-29/Iowa 34 interchange, the patrol said. Givens-Dunn was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sarah Perry, 37, of Saxonbury, N.C., was driving the 2015 Toyota 4Runner that struck him, the patrol said.

The Omaha World-Herald reports that Perry was traveling north on I-29 and was in the left lane to pass a semi when she struck the teen. The accident is still under investigation.

Givens-Dunn attended Westside High School and was working hotel maintenance jobs in Omaha, the World-Herald reported.

His son recently turned 1.
