KC woman dies in head-on crash with church van on Oldham Road
The driver who was killed in a head-on crash with a church van Sunday on Oldham Road in Kansas City has been identified by police as Alexandria R. Johnson, 23, of Kansas City.
The crash was reported shortly before 9:30 a.m. Sunday near Oldham and Hillcrest roads, Kansas City police said.
Johnson was driving a Kia that was traveling north on Oldham Road. The Kia crossed into an oncoming lane of traffic and struck a Ford church van head-on.
The driver of the Kia, Johnson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two occupants in the van had serious injuries. Two other van passengers were treated for minor injuries and released.
