One person killed in wreck near Johnson Drive and Barker Road in Shawnee
One person was killed in a multi-vehicle wreck Sunday morning near Johnson Drive and Barker Road in Shawnee, according to police.
The wreck was reported about 10 a.m. Police found three vehicles involved in the wreck, and one person dead at the scene.
Another person who was injured was taken to a hospital.
The Shawnee Police Department’s traffic unit was called in to investigate the wreck.
Johnson Drive was closed from Barker to Interstate 435 during the investigation.
