Overland Park police chief posts video of road rage incident, asks drivers to calm down
Overland Park’s police chief warned local drivers to avoid making decisions in anger by sharing a video of an apparent road rage incident that took place on Nall Avenue Friday.
Chief Frank Donchez posted traffic camera video to Twitter in which the driver of a black SUV appears to attempt to retaliate after being cut off by another vehicle. The SUV nearly veers into the other vehicle before pulling over to the side of the road.
“Road rage incident this afternoon,” Donchez said on Twitter. “Calm down people, decisions made out of anger or frustration never end well.”

The incident occurs about 12 seconds into the short clip posted by Donchez. The department did not immediately answer a question about whether either driver received a ticket.
