Kansas City man dies in one-car wreck in eastern Missouri
A Kansas City man was killed early Sunday morning in a one-car crash in the eastern part of Missouri.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says 69-year old Gary L. Williams was driving north on Interstate 55 near Perryville, Mo., when his car left the road and struck an embankment. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Williams’ 2002 Corvette was severely damaged in the accident, authorities said.
Traffic was slowed for a time, but the accident was cleared by noon.
