Munday on Monday: Supermoon

A supermoon — the name these days

When moon is full (as far as phase)

While also at its nearest point

To Earth (our favorite local joint).

But supermoons have lost their “wow” —

The third so far this summer now.

So how about we look ahead

Where January’s days are bred;

When Earth (as orbit tends to flit)

Is nearest to the sun, to wit:

And on the fourth — Rejoice! Have fun!

We’ll celebrate the super sun!
