Two killed in early morning wrong-way traffic crash in Kansas City
An early Thursday morning traffic crash on Interstate 29 killed two and injured one.
The crash occurred before 1 a.m. Thursday as a black Honda Pilot traveled north in the southbound lanes of I-29. The Pilot crashed into a southbound Honda CRV just north of Barry Road, according to a Kansas City Police news release.
The driver and passenger of the CRV died at the scene. The driver and only occupant of the Pilot was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
