Late filers may think they need the skill of a ninja warrior to get to Kansas City’s Main Post Office on Wednesday, tax deadline day.

The parking lot in front of the post office at Union Station is closed this week to set up for a taping of the television show “American Ninja Warrior.” Pershing Road is closed between Main Street and Kessler Road.

But postal patrons and tax filers may park free for 30 minutes in the garage behind Union Station and access the post office through the lower west entrance to the station.

Union Station says all parking will return to normal on Tuesday.
