I-35 at Bond Bridge shut down in both directions after possible suicidal man threatens to jump
Police have closed both directions of Interstate 35 after a man allegedly threatened to jump from the Bond Bridge.
Both police and firefighters responded to the bridge about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday on the reports of the man threatening to jump from the southbound lanes.
Firefighters have launched boats into the Missouri River setting up for a possible water rescue while police were negotiating with the man.
