Kansas City police find body in scrap yard

Kansas City police found the body of a man Sunday evening in a scrap yard behind some houses in the area of Admiral Boulevard and Tracy Avenue.

The victim, a black male approximately 50 years old, appeared to have died several days ago, according to police spokesman Darin Snapp.

There were no obvious signs of trauma, and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
