Blue Springs woman dies in crash after car hits deer
A Blue Springs woman died Sunday morning when her car hit a deer on Interstate 470 in Lee’s Summit.
Mindy M. Jacobs, 37, was driving a Honda Accord and hit the deer shortly after 10 a.m., the Missouri Highway Patrol reported.
Jacobs was traveling on 470 near Colbern road when her car hit the deer and went into a skid. The car hit a guardrail twice and then overturned, ejecting Jacobs. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
