One killed in head-on collision on Blue Parkway in east KC
One driver is dead and three other people are injured after a head-on collision Saturday night in east Kansas City.
The driver who died was alone in a Toyota passenger car traveling east on Blue Parkway just east of Sni-A-Bar Road just after 9 p.m. The car collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck traveling the opposite way.
The driver of the pickup and two passengers were transported to hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to police.
Police are investigating the crash.
