14-year-old driver killed in Missouri traffic crash
A 14-year-old girl was killed late Sunday when the Jeep she was driving crashed in Henry County, Mo.
The Missouri Highway Patrol identified the girl as Raven S. Allison of Clinton, Mo.
According to the patrol, the one-vehicle wreck occurred about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on N.W. 251st Street, north of Clinton.
Allison lost control of the Jeep Grand Cherokee as it rounded a curve at a high rate of speed, according to the patrol. The vehicle overturned, and Allison, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle, troopers reported.
Three other teens were in the vehicle but all refused medical treatment at the scene.
