Two “falcon cams” in the Kansas City area this spring will again allow people to watch live streaming video as peregrine falcon parents tend to their nests and feed their young.

Three eggs are already being tended in each of the nests. One is on a smokestack at Kansas City Power & Light’s Iatan power plant north of Weston. The other is at the American Century tower near the Country Club Plaza.

The project is a partnership of the Missouri Department of Conservation, KCP&L and American Century Investments. There are three other nests in the area without cameras this spring.

The Iatan nest can be viewed at new.livestream.com/accounts/8268653/events/3883686.

The American Century nest can be viewed at www.ustream.tv/channel/kansas-city-plaza-falcon-cam.
