Responding to midnight car wreck, police find man dead inside with gunshot wounds
Police responding to a car wreck just after midnight, as Sunday turned to Monday, found a man dead inside with gunshots wounds.
The accident occurred the southbound side of U.S. 71 at Meyer Blvd. Police interviewed several witnesses at the scene in an attempt to identify a suspect in the shooting. The victim, a black male, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
