KCK man struck by vehicle and killed on southbound I-435 in Claycomo

A 32-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man died late Saturday after he was struck by a 2013 GMC vehicle as he walked along southbound Interstate 435 in Claycomo.

The Missouri Highway Patrol identified the man as Francisco M. Corchado. He was walking south along I-435 when he was hit by the vehicle just south of U.S. 69.

Corchado was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office.
