The program begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Kansas City Public Library’s Plaza branch, 4801 Main St. The program commemorating the 70th anniversary this year of the end of World War II is presented by the library and the Truman Library Institute, with funding from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
