Archie

06/27/17 15:05 MAPLE, ARCHIE

On June 27 at approximately 1510 hours, a deputy responded to a call in Archie for a report of four male subjects driving in front of a residence, yelling obscenities at a resident and making threats. Suspects have been identified, and a subject was arrested on three outstanding Harrisonville warrants.

06/30/17 22:12 JACKSON AVE, ARCHIE

On June 30 at approximately 2200 hours, a deputy arrived in the 700 block of South Jackson Ave. in Archie in reference to a residence check for DWI court. A male subject was placed in custody for a DWI court violation.

Belton

06/27/17 07:01 15511 ADESA WAY, BELTON

On June 27 at approximately 0835 hours, a deputy was working an off-duty security detail at the Adesa Auto Auction located at 15511 Adesa Drive in Belton. A man was arrested after trespassing and assaulting a law enforcement officer.

06/27/17 18:39 203RD ST, BELTON

On June 27 at 1838 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 9000 block of E. 203rd St. in reference to a motor vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle. Two juvenile parties were transported for their injuries sustained from striking a tree.

06/28/17 01:44 17065 US 71 HWY, BELTON

On June 28, a deputy responded to Research Belton Hospital located at 17065 U.S. 71 in Belton reference a wanted party at that location. The deputy contacted Tyler L. McMullen on an active Cass County warrant. McMullen was released from custody on a signature bond with a court date given.

07/01/17 00:53 SB 49/ 163RD ST., BELTON

On July 1 at 0053 hours, a deputy responded to the area of Interstate 49 and 155th Street in reference to a vehicle pursuit. The deputy deployed stop sticks, which were effective. The pursuit ended on Interstate 49 before 163rd Street. Three suspects are in custody.

On July 1 at 0606 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 7000 block of Crown Park in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a white Chervolet Silverado sitting in the tree line, running. A suspect was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and felon in possession of a firearm.

Cleveland

06/26/17 09:48 CLEVELAND/233, CLEVELAND

On June 26 at approximately 0948 hours, a deputy responded to the area of the intersection of 233rd St. and Cleveland in Cleveland on a check the welfare call of a male slumped over asleep in the drivers seat with a needle in his arm. The suspect fled the scene when deputies arrived. Deputies pursued the subject who crashed at E. 249th and Hope Road The subject was taken into custody after being located by Sheriff’s Office K-9.

On June 29 at approximately 1906 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the area of 2 Highway and Groh Road on a green Mercury car for expired plates. The driver was arrested on two active Butler PD warrants.

07/02/17 08:23 EISELE RD, CLEVELAND

On July 2 at approximately 0823 hours, a deputy responded to the 22000 block of S. Eisele Road in Cleveland in response to two suspicious parties. Upon arrival, the deputy found Dave Thomas and Leighann K. Berry driveway of the residence. Thomas was taken into custody on active Cass County warrants, and Berry was taken into custody for possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia.

Creighton

On June 27 at approximately 1959 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 45000 block of E. 355th St. outside of Creighton regarding an assault which occurred in the 300 block of F St. in Creighton. Upon arrival at approximately 2028 hours, the deputy contacted a female who claimed to be the victim of an assault. A suspect has been identified.

Drexel

On July 2 at approximately 1531 hours, a deputy responded to the 100 block of E. Maple St. in Drexel in response to a report of stealing. A female stated her purse had been dumped out and medication and cash had been taken. No suspect has been identified.

East Lynne

07/01/17 20:50 CAMP BRANCH RD, EAST LYNNE

On July 1 at approximately 2052 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the area of 23000 block of Camp Branch Road in East Lynne to the report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated. The driver was arrested for multiple charges including active warrants out of Jackson County and Lee’s Summit.

Freeman

06/26/17 19:11 ADAMS, FREEMAN

On June 26 at 2017 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Adams in Freeman in reference to a stolen generator. The deputy made contact with a male who advised his generator was stolen sometime this afternoon.

06/27/17 11:21 JACKSON ST, FREEMAN

On June 27 at approximately 1148 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of North Jackson Street in Freeman in reference to a burglary. The victim reported multiple items stolen from the residence the previous evening.

06/27/17 11:47 WASHINGTON, FREEMAN

On June 27 at approximately 1225 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Washington Street in Freeman in reference to stealing from an outbuilding. The victim reported a Dewalt drill stolen from this location sometime overnight. No suspects have been identified.

06/27/17 12:54 STATE ROUTE O, FREEMAN

On June 27 at approximately 1257 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of South State Route O Highway in Freeman in reference to a burglary. The victim stated she interrupted a burglary in progress at her residence. The suspects fled in a white Nissan Maxima. The suspects have not been identified.

06/27/17 22:21 4TH ST, FREEMAN

On June 27 at 2221 hours, a deputy responded to the 100 block of 4th Street in reference to a residence check for a wanted party who had been walking the area looking at houses and cars. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the wanted party who fled on foot. He was later apprehended a short time later.

06/28/17 13:06 LAKE ANNETTE RD, LAKE ANNETTE

On June 28 at approximately 1344 hours, a deputy conducted an investigation near the residence of the 25000 block of South Lake Annette Road in rural Freeman in regard to a report of suspicious activity. The reporting party stated that his juvenile daughter was walking her dog along the Grand River, when she observed the dog had recovered a bone. The bones have been recovered and are being sent to the Johnson County Medical Examiner’s Office for identification purposes.

06/28/17 22:32 5TH/ADAMS, FREEMAN

On June 28 at approximately 2232 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the area of 5th and Adams in Freeman on a tan car for an improper working headlight. The driver was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm and transported to the jail.

06/30/17 15:09 STATE ROUTE W, FREEMAN

On June 30 at approximately 1509 hours, a deputy responded to the 4000 block of E. State Route W in Freeman on a report of a stolen vehicle. The reporting party stated his black 2004 Chevy 2500 was stolen from his residence on June 29 at approximately 1930 hours. A suspect has been identified.

On June 30 at approximately 1530 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of East 4th Street in Freeman in reference to a burglary. The victim reported multiple items stolen from his residence within the past few weeks. No suspects have been identified.

07/01/17 07:24 MAIN ST, FREEMAN

On July 1 at 0622 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of E. Main St. in Freeman in regard to an illegally parked vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy contacted the postmaster, who stated the property was clearly marked as parking for postal vehicles only. Upon searching the exterior of the building, the deputy found a broken window on the east side, with a hole in the center about 2-3 inches in diameter. It is unknown at this time how long the window had been broken.

Garden City

07/02/17 16:50 GUNN CITY RD, GARDEN CITY

On July 2, a deputy responded to the area of E. Gunn City Rd. and S. Old Drumm Rd. in reference to an assault and motor vehicle theft that just occurred. The deputy made contact with the victim who reported her son assaulted her and then stole her car. A suspect has been identified in this investigation.

Harrisonville

06/26/17 07:38 2800 ROCK HAVEN RD, HARRISONVILLE

On June 26 at approximately 0814 hours, a deputy served a blood draw search warrant at Cass Regional Medical Center. Three vials of blood were recovered as a result of the warrant and placed in evidence. A suspect has been identified in this case.

06/26/17 13:15 252ND/PECULIAR DRIVE, HARRISONVILLE

On June 26 at approximately 1330 hours, a deputy responded to a report of a suspicious subject in the area of East 252nd Street near Peculiar Drive in Harrisonville. One male was arrested for resisting arrest and another for felony driving while revoked and possession of controlled substance.

06/28/17 12:08 27603 WEST OUTER RD, HARRISONVILLE

On June 28, a deputy responded to the Sapp Brother’s Truck Stop at 27603 South West Outer Road to recover counterfeit currency. A male reported the discovery of a counterfeit $10 bill being used at the business.

06/28/17 17:56 MCCLAIN RD, HARRISONVILLE

On June 28 at approximately 1808 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of S. McClain Rd. in Harrisonville in reference to a trespass not in progress. A female stated an unknown person entered into her vacant rental house, but no damage was observed, and it was determined nothing had been taken. A suspect has not been identified.

06/29/17 15:22 MCCLAIN RD, HARRISONVILLE

On June 29 at approximately 1525 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of S. McClain Rd. in Harrisonville in reference to a report of property damage. A female said someone had cut the electric wires to her security cameras. A suspect has been identified.

06/29/17 23:02 BLUEGRASS LN, HARRISONVILLE

On June 29 at approximately 2306 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 27000 block of S. Bluegrass Lane in Harrisonville in reference to a stealing of a firearm. The victim told the deputy that the last time he saw the firearm was approximately May 15. He realized the firearm was missing on June 28 at approximately 2000 hours. Suspects have been identified.

06/30/17 05:59 299TH ST, HARRISONVILLE

On June 30 at approximately 0602 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 18000 block of E. 299th Street for a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a white car that had slid off the roadway into a fence. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. No suspect has been identified.

07/01/17 06:02 STATE ROUTE 2, HARRISONVILLE

On July 1 at approximately 0604 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle check in a field adjacent to the 31000 block of E. State Route 2 on a 2006 Ford Escape. The driver was arrested for excessive BAC and later released on summons.

07/02/17 09:08 STATE ROUTE 2, HARRISONVILLE

On July 2, a deputy conducted an investigation of a stolen truck in the 16000 block of E. State Route 2 in Harrisonville. The victim reported his 1989 Chevrolet pickup stolen from the property. A suspect has been identified in this investigation.

07/02/17 13:41 MORGAN RD, HARRISONVILLE

On July 2 at approximately 1341 hours, a deputy responded to the 13000 block of E. Morgan Road in Harrisonville in response to suspicious activity. The deputy contacted David J. Neal, Asam R. Froeman and Brooke A. Thompson upon arrival. Thompson was arrested for an active probation and parole warrant out of Camden County.

Lake Annette

06/28/17 08:03 SHADY TREE LN, LAKE ANNETTE

On June 28 at approximately 0806 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 25000 block of Shady Tree Lane in Lake Annette in reference to an assault that occurred. An investigation revealed the victim was assaulted by her boyfriend, and transported to Cass Regional Medical Center for her injuries. The suspect has been identified.

Peculiar

06/26/17 03:03 SB 49/MM 165.4, PECULIAR

On June 26 at approximately 0307 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the report of a careless and imprudent driver on I-49 southbound near Harrisonville. The vehicle was located and one subject was arrested.

06/26/17 12:34 TANAINE LN, PECULIAR

On June 26 at approximately 1234 hours, a deputy responded to the 23000 block of S. Tanaine Lane in Peculiar in response to a call about a possible stolen vehicle located. A suspect was identified and taken into custody.

06/27/17 20:39 NB49/MM165.8, PECULIAR

On June 27 at approximately 2039 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the area of northbound Interstate 49, near mile marker 165.8 on a silver Chevrolet for displaying plates of another vehicle. The passenger was arrested on three active Raymore PD warrants.

07/01/17 11:43 THORNGROVE RD, PECULIAR

On July 1 at approximately 1146 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the lobby of 2501 West Mechanic in Harrisonville in reference to a report of stealing of a motor vehicle. The victim reported a white 2000 Ford F250 extended cab was stolen from his residence within the past 72 hours. No suspects have been identified.

Pleasant Hill

07/01/17 11:51 AIRPORT RD, PLEASANT HILL

On July 1, a deputy conducted a burglary investigation in the 22000 block of S. Airport Road in Pleasant Hill. The deputy made contact with a female who stated sometime between June 29 and July 1, someone broke into the residence. She reported a lawn mower stolen from the barn. No suspects have been identified at this time.

07/02/17 20:51 STATE ROUTE 291, PLEASANT HILL

On July 2 at approximately 2101 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 17000 block of S. State Route 291 in Pleasant Hill to the report of a driver slumped over at the wheel. Upon arrival at approximately 2111 hours, the deputy contacted the driver of the vehicle. The driver was arrested for felony driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.

Raymore

07/01/17 12:01 WARD RD, RAYMORE

On July 1 at approximately 1201 hours, a deputy responded to the 1000 block of Ward Road in Raymore on a report of stealing. The reporting party stated that a hose and hose hangar had been stolen off of the porch of the residence. A suspect has been identified.
