Semitrailer runs off ramp from I-35 to northbound I-635 in Overland Park

A semitrailer ran off the ramp leading from northbound Interstate 35 to northbound Interstate 635 during the morning rush hour Thursday.

Although the crash was primarily off the roadway, northbound I-35 traffic in Johnson County was moving slowly through the area.

The left lane of northbound I-635 over I-35 was closed while emergency crews worked the crash. Tow trucks were brought in to remove the truck.
