About 14,000 KCP&L customers lost power Sunday morning during an outage that lasted about an hour, according to the power company.

The outages were concentrated in the Northland. Power was restored to most customers by 9:30 a.m.

KCP&L crews were working on repairs and investigating the cause of the outage Sunday.

By 10 a.m. the number of customers without power was under 250.
