A woman and her dog reportedly escaped injury after a house fire Wednesday in south Kansas City.

The fire at 11 West 85th Street was reported about 3:45 p.m., according to KMBC Channel 9.

The home is located near 85th and Main Street.

No injuries were reported in the blaze.
