Police got your goats? No really, do they?
When Olathe police sent out a message on Twitter Thursday evening, it wasn’t your typical lost-and-found inquiry.
“Got your goats?” Olathe police asked in the tweet. “We might! 4 goats found at I35 & Lone Elm.”
Police asked the goats’ owner to call Olathe Animal Control at 913-971-6362 to claim them.
Others were encouraged to re-tweet or spread the message.
The goats were found at 3 p.m.
The tweet amused some Twitter users. Rick Kingcade (@LastRoyalsFan) noted that this was the first time he had goats on his timeline.
Olivia Kelly Allen (@OliviaKellyB) recalled that the last time she had contact with goats, they tackled her.
“I’m scarred,” she wrote in her tweet. “Never again.”
The goats are one adult female, one adult male and two younger males.
