Free medical clinic will be held April 18 at Bartle Hall
A free health care clinic for those with little or no insurance is coming to Bartle Hall on April 18.
The care will include medical exams, diabetes tests, cholesterol tests, EKGs, pregnancy tests, HIV testing and kidney disease testing.
It will also offer basic dental care (extractions only), three months of medication, health education, connections to follow-up care and a specialist who can help pursue insurance options.
Kansas City area residents can call 800-340-1301 to schedule appointments for the one-day clinic, which will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 18, a Saturday.
The National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics is sponsoring the clinic.
