KBI searches for missing St. Joseph man in Doniphan County, Kan.
Authorities in Kansas were searching along the Wolf River in Doniphan County on Monday for a missing St. Joseph, Mo., man, according to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
The Doniphan County sheriff’s office had received information shortly before 9 a.m. Monday that led them to search for the man in their area, which is immediately west of St. Joseph. Soon after, authorities located the man’s vehicle.
The KBI was asked to assist in the search for the man about 10 a.m. The investigation led authorities to search the Wolf River area in Doniphan County.
The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism is assisting in the search along the river. The river is about 20 miles from St. Joseph.
The investigation is ongoing. The KBI did not provide any further details Monday night.
