Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run accident in south KC

Police were investigating a hit-and-run accident that left one person with life-threatening injuries Tuesday in south Kansas City.

The incident was reported shortly before 5:30 p.m. at Ruskin Way and Herrick Avenue.

Police did not release a description of the vehicle involved.
