Overland Park woman missing for a week found safe

A missing 27-year-old Overland Park woman who had been missing since April 27 has been found safe in Kansas City, police said Thursday morning.

Overland Park police said they have been in contact with her. Prior to being located, Marilyn R. Chaney was last seen around 8 p.m. April 27 in the 11200 block of West 95th Street.

Overland Park police on Twitter thanked people who had reached out and re-tweeted its original missing person notice.
