Rush hour crash involving multiple vehicles on I-35 in Johnson County causes backup
A multi-vehicle crash early during Tuesday morning’s rush hour caused a major backup for commuters along Interstate 35 in Johnson County.
The wreck happened about 6:30 a.m. along northbound I-35 at Shawnee Mission Parkway.
Authorities closed the right and left lanes for a while, having traffic squeeze past on the center lanes.
The crash caused traffic to back up beyond 95th Street.
