Oak Grove, Mo., man killed in I-70 wreck
A 79-year-old man was killed on Interstate 70 late Sunday night when, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol, he drove his Pontiac in the wrong direction and struck another car head-on.
Billy L. Moore was pronounced dead on the scene in Lafayette County after driving west in the eastbound lanes of I-70 about 11:30 p.m. The 21-year-old driver of the other car in the accident was not seriously injured, according to the highway patrol accident report.
