Lee’s Summit fire chief to retire in September
Lee’s Summit Fire Chief Keith Martin will retire next month, ending a 38-year career with the department, city officials announced Thursday.
Martin became chief in 2009 after working as a firefighter, paramedic, station captain, battalion chief and assistant chief. His retirement is effective Sept. 22.
