Liberty Memorial enjoys surge in attention

The centennial has been good to the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial.

The museum had its highest monthly attendance ever in July: 23,334 ticketed admissions. President and CEO Matt Naylor told his board Thursday that year-to-date revenues are up 21 percent over last year, net profit from the gift shop is up 42 percent, visits to the research center are up 51 percent, public programming attendance is up 70 percent and Facebook followers are up 218 percent.
