Police make arrests at Kansas City sobriety checkpoint

Kansas City Police made four arrests for driving under the influence at a sobriety checkpoint that began late Friday night.

Two fugitives also were arrested.

Among 194 cars stopped at N.E. 46th St. and N. Oak Trafficway between 11 p.m. Friday and 4 a.m. Saturday, police found four drivers with suspended or revoked licenses.

Other citations included one for careless driving, one for hindering an officer, and two traffic violations.
