Video shows Overland Park cruiser being struck in weather-related accident

Three Overland Park police officers sustained minor injuries in weather-related car accidents Saturday.

One of those officers was in an accident at U.S. 69 and College Boulevard. The officer’s patrol car rolled after being struck by another vehicle.

The officer was in the car when the cruiser was struck — she sustained minor injuries.

Police took the opportunity to remind drivers they should move to the opposite side of the road when emergency vehicles are stopped on the shoulder.
