Two injured after vehicle crashes into church in KCK

A car crashed into the Grace Lutheran Church at 3333 Wood Ave. in Kansas City, Kan., about 2:10 p.m. Thursday. The driver did not appear to be seriously injured but was taken to a hospital to be checked out. A juvenile in the car also had minor injuries, but no one was injured in the building.

Two people, including a juvenile, were injured after a vehicle crashed into a church Thursday in Kansas City, Kan.

The incident was reported about 2:10 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church at 3333 Wood Ave.

The driver of the vehicle was able to get out on his own. He did not appear to be seriously injured but was taken to a hospital to be checked out.

A juvenile in the car also sustained minor injuries.

There was no word on the amount of damage caused to the church.
