One person burned when fire breaks out in Kansas City, Kan., house
One person was injured when a Kansas City, Kan., house caught fire Wednesday night.
That person was taken to the hospital to be treated for burn injuries. The extent of the injuries were not immediately available.
Fire fighters responded to the house fire about 10:20 p.m. in the 2900 block of North 31st Street. The person who called 911 reported seeing smoke and flames coming from the house, according to Kansas City Fire Chief John Paul Jones on Twitter.
Firefighters had the fire knocked down by 10:35 p.m. Jones reported the fire was out shortly after 11 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
