Warrensburg man dies in Lee’s Summit crash
A 47-year-old Warrensburg man was killed Wednesday afternoon when his vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned on U.S. 50 near Smart Road in Lee’s Summit.
The victim was identified as Charles D. Roderick. The crash was reported just after 2 p.m. Roderick, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. Investigators said Roderick was eastbound on U.S. 50 before the wreck occurred.
No other injuries were reported. Roderick died at the scene.
