Passenger killed in collision at Chouteau Trafficway intersection in Kansas City
A passenger died early Wednesday when two cars collided at an intersection in Kansas City.
The collision happened about 1:10 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Front Street and Chouteau Trafficway.
The driver of a silver Buick told police that he was headed west on Front as he approached the intersection at Chouteau Trafficway. The driver said he had a green light and as he traveled through the intersection, a Saturn turned left in front of him.
The two cars collided, with the Buick striking the Saturn on the passenger side.
The passenger in the Saturn was taken to a hospital, where the person was pronounced dead. The passenger was not wearing a seat belt. Both drivers were uninjured.
